Chap 2

“What are you talking about Jake? Your not furry!” I laughed. They both looked at me serious now.
“Kellie I’m serious. I know this is hard to believe but the fantasy world isn’t all vampires. There are werewolves too.” He still looked serious, I don’t think he’s joking.
“Wait, how long have you been a werewolf?” He was like my brother I would expect him to tell me things like this.
“Well…about two years…” He looked at me apologetically. He had been a werewolf for two years and didn’t tell me! Some brother… I glared at him.
“I’m sorry ok! I just thought that me being your best friend and all you’d worry about me not getting enough rest and school and such.” He looked at me with puppy dog eyes now. I sighed.
“Oh, how can I be mad at you? You were just doing what was best for me. Thankyou; but from now on you tell me these kind of things ok Mister?” He nodded with a smile. Some realization just popped into my mind.
“Does Cam know?” I was worried for her. I know it was unlikely, but what if she got hurt... He shook his head. I was relieved but felt sympathy for her.
“When will you tell her?” I was starting to wonder now.
“Well I don’t know… I mean I have imprinted on her… but… I’m afraid that she will be freaked out and I don’t want her to be scared.” I felt confused.
“I got lost at the word ‘imprinted’.” He realized I was still kind of knew to werewolf stuff and filled me in on everything.
Some hours later, Jake had gone home, I had sorted things out with him and even made arrangements. Edward was calmed down and had gone out hunting with Jasper and Carlisle and Rosalie. Esme, Alice and Emmet had stayed behind. I just wanted them to come back… I had news for everyone… only Alice knew and she was quite depressed.
While the party of hunters was out, I wondered around the house and looked at photos Alice had taken over the last couple of months I had been with the Cullen’s. There were photos of me with everyone but Edward and Rosalie; I even had pictures with Jasper! Jasper wasn’t really my enemy; I just tried to make it as easy as possible for him. There were only a maximum amount of memories I could have here.
When the others came back, Alice called them all into the dining room because I had to say something. We all sat down. I noticed different emotions in everyone. There was mostly worry and curiosity but there was definitely impatience coming from Rosalie and Edward. I began.
“Well as I’m sure you all know, today there was some… complication. And I have come to a conclusion that would make everything so much easier for everyone…” I assessed everyone again, Worry of Esme and Carlisle, curiosity from Emmet, Jasper, Rosalie and even Edward. I took a deep breath.
“I’m leaving.” Esme and Carlisle gasped. I heard a laugh come of Rosalie and Edward. A sigh came of Alice and Jasper started to look guilty… and Emmet…
“What! Why? Because of Edward?!” Edward growled. Obviously I needed to clear things up a bit.
“I’m not leaving Forks, just your home. Jake has offered to let me live at his house. Please don’t try to stop me. I’m leaving in about two hours. I guess this is goodbye then.”
“Good.” Rosalie had announced and walked out of the room. I was surprised Edward didn’t do the same. So I just dismissed everyone and went up to my room to pack my things.
It came 6pm and I was finished packing my things. Alice helped me bring my things downstairs. Jake would be here soon to pick me up. I really needed to go get my own car.
While I was sitting in the living room by myself while Alice had gone to go look for anything I had left behind, Edward had walked into the room. I looked away from him and just looked at my hands. He came and sat right beside me. I just kept looking down. He lifted my chin with his fingers and my heart beat fast, I’m sure he could hear it.
“You’re leaving because of me…” He looked at me apologetically. I couldn’t let this happen now as I was leaving. In the corner of my eye I saw a light turn into our driveway. I pulled my chin away and stood up. I pulled out my biggest suitcase first. Jake came into help me. He saw Edward sitting on the couch and hissed lightly. As I was walking out the door, Edward was there. I gasped.
“I’m sorry ok! I can’t help it! Please stay here… I feel bad knowing your leaving because of me.” I felt Jake pull me back a bit from him.
“Edward, I’m leaving so deal with it. You’re not stopping me. Jake.” Jake pushed Edward out of the way and helped me out the door. Alice appeared outside with us and looked back into the doorway where Edward was still standing. Looking at me with sorrow. This wasn’t going to happen. Esme, Emmet, Carlisle and Jasper came out to say goodbye to me. I gave everyone of them a hug goodbye and I thanked Alice for doing everything she had for me. I got into Jake’s car and by the time I had finished thinking about what had happened I was in my new room at Jake’s house. I would have to wait till the weekend to unpack my things. I was too tired now. I went out to the kitchen to get something to eat. Jake’s dad was there.
“Hey Kellie. How are you feeling?” He was in his wheelchair at the fridge. I just sighed and bent down to give him a hug.
“Thanks for letting me stay here Billy, I really wasn’t that easy for the Cullen’s to live with.” I looked into the fridge.
“Naww it’s ok! You know you are like family to us and you always will be! I consider you my daughter and I’ll treat you the same as Jake… maybe a bit better” He winked at me and I laughed.
“You saying you don’t treat my right pops?” Jake walked into the kitchen and it was getting a little crowded now. I decided I’d grab what I could find to make dinner and then go to sleep.
“Who wants dinner?” Jake and Billy both looked at me and grinned widely.
“Me!” They both said together. I rounded up food in the kitchen that I decided was edible to make for dinner. In the end I just decided I would make some simple Mac and Cheese. It must be better than what they usually eat I mused to myself.
We all sat down to eat our dinner and we didn’t talk most of the time. I excused myself from the table once I had finished and I went to my bedroom and decided to call Camila.
“It’s only 8pm, she should still be awake.” I dialled her number in my phone and she answered after it had rung about four times.  
“Hello?”
“Yes hello, this is the FBI. We are calling you to ask you some questions on the disappearance of Miss Kellie Middleton from the Cullen’s home.” I played in a male kind of low tone.
“What!? Kellie has gone missing!” She hung up and Jake walked into the room.
“Playing pranks on Cam?” He was interrupted by his cell ringing, I giggled.
“Kellie is fine she just moved into my house… you are really gullible Cam.” I’m sure she could here me laughing in the background. Jake handed me the phone.
“Hey Cam. Sorry to make you worry but it really is funny!” I laughed into the phone.
“Why did you move into Jake’s house? Was there something wrong with the Cullen’s?” I sighed.
“No hun, just some…difficulties for them. I mean they already have so many people in the house already, so Jake offered me to stay here. You know he and his dad are basically family to me.” She laughed on the other side.
“Ha! Too bad huh. You’re missing out on so much. I mean Jake is so hawt! I’m so glad I have him.” I heard her giggling. I laughed to and looked up at Jake.
“Hum. I guess he is kind of handsome.” I giggled again when Jake blushed, I turned around and tried to mumble into the phone.
“But, you know how I feel about Edward.” I sighed and she stopped laughing.
“That’s why you moved out isn’t it?” Jake took the phone from me and said bye to Cam and he just glared at me.
“What? I can’t help it if I’m a girl. We are meant to like men aren’t we? Unless you want me to be a lesbian.” I closed my eyes and crossed my arms. I could tell he was trying to hold back laughter, but he was still serious.
“Kellie, he’s a dangerous vampire. You have seen today what he could do to you! Please, please! Try to stay away from him!” I felt kind of guilty now.
“Ok I’m sorry.” I looked down. “It’s just a crush I guess… but you have to admit he is really good looking.” I smiled and he laughed a bit.
“Not as good looking as me.” He stood up straight and proud. “You even said it yourself.” He winked at me.
“Yeah, don’t flatter yourself! Now get out of my room you’re starting to make it smell!” I pushed him out the door while he was laughing.
“Ok, ok I’ll leave. Night Kell.” He lent in to give me a hug.
“Night Jake. Wait, your going out aren’t you! Hum don’t be back late you have school tomorrow!” He laughed and walked out towards the kitchen.
“Night Billy!” I yelled towards the same direction.
“Night Kell!” I fell asleep listening to my music.
“Hey Kellie! How’s your new place?” Cam ran up to me when me and Jake pulled into school in his car.
“Oh I love the place! Sept I went in to get some dishes from Jakes room and it smelt like shit in there!” I looked up at Jake and he blushed again. Cam and I laughed. Then Alice came and she ran up to me so quickly. But not so quickly to make anyone suspect.
“Hey Alice.” I smiled a bit timidly. She grabbed me into a hug and almost squished me.
“Oh Kellie I miss you already! Please come back!” I frowned
“Alice you know I can’t, It’s just to…” Jake interrupted me before I blurted out something unnecessary.
“Kellie come on we have to go to class.” He pulled on my arm a bit. I gave Alice a hug and ran of towards Jake and Cam. Biology class.
We walked into our class and the first thing I looked for was Edward. He wasn’t there.
Edward didn’t come for the whole week. Then he didn’t come the week after, or the week after. And three weeks turned into a month. I didn’t ask Alice because I knew that if he didn’t come because of me it would just make her depressed. Every other Cullen came but Edward, and of course Esme and Carlisle.
One night I decided to go visit the Cullen’s. If Edward were there I would have to speak to him. I went and knocked on Jake’s door.
“Jake I’m borrowing your bike, yes I’m going to the Cullen’s and no do not follow me.” I shut his door and went to the garage. I could hear Jake’s confused footsteps some way behind me. I hopped on the bike and started it up. I hope I still remembered how to ride a bike. It had been a while. Just as I took of I heard Jake.
“Awe shit!” I heard a ripping sound and then big footsteps like a dog behind me. I sped up, but I guess a bike was to slow for a werewolf. He jumped in front of me forcing me to stop the bike. He poofed back into a human and he was naked. I covered my eyes and gave him my jacket. He covered himself up.
“Kellie what are you doing?!” I revved my bike.
“Jake I’m going to the Cullen’s house. I have to have answers to my questions. And there not questions you could answer so get out of my way.” I revved my bike again.
“Kellie it’s eight o’clock!”
“Pfft! Their vampires! They don’t sleep! And plus its Friday, there’s no school tomorrow. Please Jake. I have to sort things out with Edward otherwise I’ll never feel better. And please, don’t follow me. If you come it will make things worse. There are vampires there that would protect me from him.” He sighed. He gave me a hug and stepped out of the way. He held out my jacket and I looked forward so I wouldn’t see him.
“Keep the jacket until it’s clean. Please.” I sped of and he yelled after me.
“I’ll wait for you! Be careful!”
I loved riding motorbikes! They were so refreshing! I loved the feeling of my hair blowing in the wind. But then I arrived at the Cullen’s house. I’m sure everyone heard my bike. I parked it and lent against the bike. Alice was there in a flash.”

“Where’s Edward?”
